Terms of Service

By installing or using Tela, you agree to these terms.


1. What Tela does

Tela renders AI try-on images of you wearing clothing items, and lets you browse a personalized fashion feed. Rendering relies on a third-party AI image provider. Quality varies; we don't guarantee any specific result.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old, in line with the App Store's 12+ age rating. If you're under the age of digital consent in your country (typically 13–16), you confirm you have parent or guardian permission.

3. Cost

Tela is currently free. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. If we introduce paid features, we'll update these terms and make pricing clear before you're charged.


4. Your content

The selfies and product images you upload remain your property. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

Generated try-on images are yours. You may save, share, or delete them. We do not use your images to train AI models, sublicense them, or share them with anyone outside the processors named in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-generated content

Generated images are produced by AI and may not accurately represent how a real garment would look on you. They are for inspiration and entertainment — not a substitute for trying on the actual item before purchase. We make no warranty about accuracy, fit, color fidelity, or quality.


7. No warranty and limitation of liability

Tela is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of Tela. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law (e.g. gross negligence, intent, or the German Product Liability Act).


8. Termination

You can stop using Tela any time by uninstalling it. You can delete all your data via in-app "Delete my data" or by emailing [email protected].

We can terminate or suspend your access for violations of these terms.


9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.


10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.

For consumer disputes, EU users may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. We are not obligated, and generally not willing, to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
